The kind that arrive quietly… and leave you different.

I’m Katalyss. A slow traveler. A creative soul.
And each month, I write you a letter from somewhere on this good green earth.It all began in an airport lounge, on my way home from Morocco. I was sitting there, handwriting postcards to my former students. One by one. No shortcuts.

They didn’t just like them.
They felt them.

In a world of constant scrolling, something about holding a handwritten note from across the world stopped them in their tracks.  And honestly, in that pause... it felt like I was onto something magical.

That’s when it clicked.

I had just left my life as a high school AP English teacher. Burned out, but still wanting to create something that mattered. Every summer, and holiday travel was my way of coping with the extreme stress, and I found myself falling in love more and more with the art of slow travel. It was becoming something else: A way back to myself.

So I asked a different question:

What if I could bottle that feeling…
and send it to someone who needed it?

Not advice.
Not another program.
Just a moment to slow down, breathe. To feel. To connect and remember that there's a world out there beyond our inbox.

So I did.

(I'm currently writing this to you from a tucked-away corner upstairs in a cozy café in Mexico!)

I design it. I sketch it. I paint it. I write it. I film behind-the-scenes insights that didn't make it onto my travel video essays. Then I gather them all into a kraft paper envelope... and it finds its way to you.

You’ll also receive your own passport notebook… a place to write your reflections, respond to the prompts, or simply collect the moments that found you. A place that becomes yours over time.

Whether you're an avid traveler or a wanderlust at heart, my wish is that these letters and goodies travel to you and help to slowly bring you back to yourself.
