The Destination

I sketch and paint an original artwork - a scene from that destination by hand, scan it, and press it into a Polaroid-style mini card and write a few words inside it worth passing on.

the part no camera captures
Tucked inside, you'll find a handwritten letter from me, written as if the ink is still drying somewhere between a cobblestone alley and a corner café. It's the unpolished version; not the story I tell on camera: the dish I almost didn't order, the thought I scribbled on a napkin at 2am or behind-the-scenes moments that never made it into the video essay.
It arrives a little late, a little personal, a little confessional... carrying stories, field notes on the local food discoveries (that felt too good to keep to myself), and quiet truths that somehow meet you where you are... something that might be what you needed to hear.
Think of it as a letter from a dear friend who went somewhere beautiful, thought of you while they were there... and couldn't help but bring you along.

Some are traditional. Some are everyday meals people don't think twice about.
